No One Left Behind 2030:
new bridge in Guyana

16 September 2019

Today, the Government of Guyana, together with the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), has entrusted us with the feasibility study and design of a new strategic bridge along the corridor that connects the Country to Brazil.

A new opportunity that allows us to actively participate in the Agenda for Sustainable Development “No One Left Behind 2030” promoted by local authorities as part of the Transport Sector Enhancement Project.

The project, inspired by the Envision® principles for sustainable infrastructures, follows the environmental and development policies defined by the CDB, for which we are already implementing other infrastructure projects in the Caribbean..

The construction of the new Wismar/Mackenzie bridge thus becomes the priority in Guyana’s national strategy for the development of its transport. A new link essential for sustainable growth and development of both social and economic sectors of the whole region.
