Today we are happy and proud to have participated at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new Coastal Highway in Belize.
The new 58 kilometer high capacity, today dirt road will be passable in all seasons and will improve connectivity from southern districts to Belize City, increasing access to health, education and social services.
A resilient infrastructure ready for future challenges posed by climate change, designed with the use of high-tech tools combined with the continuous involvement of local populations, for an environmentally and socially sustainable project.
Our CEO Francesca Federzoni together with Enea Sermasi and Alessio Gori were among the many guests of the ceremony that started the works.
Special thanks to the Government of Belize and to the UK Caribbean Infrastructure Funds-Caribbean Development Bank.
