
Pordenone, December 16, 2024 – The city’s New Hospital was officially inaugurated today, representing a cutting-edge model of innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in the Italian healthcare sector.
With a total area of 82,500 m² and 475 beds, the new hospital is set to become the main healthcare facility for Western Friuli. Politecnica played a key role in its design and construction, in collaboration with Pinearq, Manens, and Cooprogetti Pordenone.
The architecture combines functional design with urban integration, aiming to enhance every patient’s experience, optimize operational workflows, and address the future challenges of healthcare. Notable innovative features include green roofs, trigeneration systems, and the use of BIM technology, ensuring sustainability and high performance throughout the project.
