Unveiling the future of culture in Modena the redevelopment and restoration project of the former Estense Hospital. Today presented the volume “A Palace for Culture” (edited by Giovanni Cerfogli, Silvia Pellegrini, Francesca Piccinini, Cristina Stefani) along with the newly outfitted spaces. This ambitious project, designed by Politecnica and Ingegneri Riuniti, with aims to bridge the spaces of the Palace of Museums and the former Sant’Agostino hospital, creating a unified hub for cultural activities. The first phase works’ will breathe new life into over 1,000 square meters of exhibition space, which will be followed in the second step with the expansion of Estense Galleries, the Civic Museum, and the Poletti Library. Today’s conference welcomed the mayor of Modena, Gian Carlo Muzzarelli, Cultural Affairs Councillor Andrea Bortolamasi, Public Works Councillor Andrea Bosi, Regional Secretary for the Ministry of Culture Corrado Azzolini, Vice President of the Modena Foundation Eleonora De Marco, la progettista di Politecnica Micaela Goldoni e il direttore dei lavori Giovanni Cerfogli.
